Annie Mole on the London Underground blog wrote a couple of weeks ago about the London Underground in Bloom competition, where individual tube stations compete in the following categories: Best Newcomer, Cultivated Garden, Hanging Baskets – the John Knight award, Trains and Service Control, Tubs, the Dennis Sanger special award, Best Overall Garden and Gardens in Bloom art category. I’m guessing that last week South Kensington were aiming for the latter category when I took this picture!
It was made completely from real woven leaves and flowers and looked really amazing. It must have taken somebody ages!
